Go to Start, select and click run, type msconfig then click OK. In system configuration window, choose general and select diagnostic. Restart PC and see if there is any difference in the system loading speed. In case there is an improvement, one of the startup programs, under tab Startup, are slowing your PC.

Hi,

check in the device manager, that all device drivers are correctly Installed.
Scan for viruses-Trojans.
Possible Bios problem or Change, check to see if Fast Boot Or Quick boot options are available in the Bios Menu. *** Refer To User Manual*** May also be options for optimized performance.

I recommend reinstalling Vista, and replacing the Hard Drive as well. The errors being sporadic could be indicative of a hardware failure or a software failure and could be both in tandem.

May I know whether the Hard Drive is listed in the BIOS? This issue will occur if the Operating System is corrupted or if the Hard Drive is failed. You can use the Windows disc and reinstall the Windows once. If the reinstallation process is not successful, then you may have to replace the Hard Drive.

MSVCR71.DLL NOT FOUND

If the error started appearing soon after you have installed a new application or device driver, then it is possible that the error is occurring due to problems in the installation. To fix the error in this case, uninstall the software you installed and reinstall it.

Many times, errors related to DLL files, such as Msvcr71.dll, occur due to malware infections. Download, install and run Malwarebytes.

Hope this helps.

Try check your hard disk with the other machine. Try running hard disk diagnostic test. If there's a problem with diagnostic test i suspect your hard disk is faulty. If you tried connecting with other machine then same problem, suspected also hard disk faulty. You might need to change it.

I WANNA INSTALL XP2 BUT MY SYSTEM SHOWS ERROR: C000022UNKNOWN HARD ERRORSYSTEMROOTSYSTEM32NTDLL.DLL

  1. This problem may occur if the file that is described in the error message is corrupted. The following files are checked for integrity when Microsoft Windows XP starts:
  2. All driver files (except those that are loaded by the system loader to start. the computer)
  3. All dynamic-link libraries (DLLs), including User, Graphics Device Interface (GDI), Shell, Kernel, Ntdll, Crtdll, and others.
  4. This problem may occur if you install an inappropriate driver for your hardware. For example, you receive one of the error messages that are described in the "Summary" section if you install a MIPS driver on an X86-based computer.

This problem may occur if an Iomega Zip drive is on the same integrated device electronics (IDE) cable as the hard disk drive.
  5. To resolve this problem, obtain a new copy of the corrupted file or reinstall Windows XP. If you continue to receive any one of the error messages that are described in the "Summary" section after you reinstall Windows XP, a hardware problem or a network problem may exist.
  6. This error message may be displayed in many different formats, including an error message that is displayed on a blue screen or an error message that is displayed in a dialog box. The type of format that the error message is displayed in depends on how much of the operating system was loaded when the corrupted file was detected.
