I have a HTC (i-Mate Jasjam) and I think your phone has the same mini-USB charger connector on the bottom.

Have you tried charging it with your computer with the USB cable?
Try another cable if you have.
Mine works better with original wall charger.

The connector on the phone may have dry joints, I opened my phone and soldered the negative ground terminals.
That fixed the charging problem for a few months.

I bought a charger cradle for the battery and second battery,
Taking the battery out may upset the time and date settings and you need to set them again.

Wont turn on

Phone will still boot without a SIM card usually just comes up and says that you need a SIM card to operate the phone but it will still boot/charge without it. Could be bad battery most HTC phones will not boot without a operational battery. Pull the battery and plug it into a charger if the Charging light goes on for like 3-5 sec. then off most likely battery is faulty if no light at all, could be a bunch of different reasons.

Do not do a hard reset, you don't need to. Hold the power button down for twenty seconds and the phone will reboot itself.

I have htc windows 8x phone. My phone wont charge! i plug it in and the red charging battery icon doesn't appears, but it wont turn on no matter how long i charge it. i just got my phone 5 days ag

I think you have damaged your charging pin in the phone by mistake either by dropping the phone or while taking the cord out or inserting. I think the best way to get this fixed will be to go show it to the store that you bought it from/microsoft store. Hope this helps. All the best.

My battery is fully charged but my phone wont turn on

I can tell you if your battery is an aftermarket one they tend to stop working after a short tim. Either they stop working in the charger or they wont make the correct connection in order to power up. the may be the problem even if its an HTC battery. I have two batteries right now that are fully charged but wont turn on the phone. this is not uncommon for this to happen with lithiem batteries.
