Check first if your computer does have another partition with a recovery disk.
If yes, run the setup from there (see the option at the start up F10 o F12 or your system recovery boot key)

If not, you will need a Windows CD to reinstall the system.

Window Could not seart because the following file is missing or corrupt:\Windows\systems32\config\system

The operating system is corrupted. You'll have to do a fresh install using the disk that came with the laptop, or with a retail Windows disk from a store like Walmart. Sometimes, a computer repair store can get the data off the harddrive first.

No boot sector on internal hard drive. No bootable

Hi there,

A boot sector is a sector of a hard disk that contains booting programs stored in the other part of the hard disk. You boot sector might have been deleted or corrupted and you can't logon until you repair or recover the boot sector. To do this you must have your OS cd. Boot from OS cd the follow below steps...

Windows Vista
1. Insert the installation disc.
2. Restart your computer
3. If prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.
4. Choose your language settings, and then click Next.
5. Click Repair your computer.
6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

On the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair might prompt you to make choices as it tries to fix the problem, and if necessary, it might restart your computer as it makes repairs.

Boot from you hard disk then you're done!

The laptop shows windows system 32 configuration file corrupt error how to run laptop?

Windows system 32 file is part of the operating system and when it is corrupted, you cannot boot up your computer. I suggest if you had a systems back files, use it to recover the missing file. Just load the back up disk CD/DVD into the CDROM, boot up your computer and run it to CDROM and option will display and choose the repair.

If don't have the systems back up disk. Only solution is to reinstall or repair your operating system.

For reinstalling and repairing, insert the OS installer CD in your CDROM and boot up your computer and run the repair or reinstallation process. Follow the procedure.

Turn on, then shuts down and power up again, over and over...

Your Windows installation has become corrupt. For Windows Vista or Windows 7 you will need a system disk to repair it--just boot from the disk and follow the prompts to "repair my computer."
For Windows XP, you can use this fix:

It won't turn on. It shows a black screen with "disk read error occured, press CTRL ALT DEL to restart. Then when you do this it does nothing.

Make sure you don't have any bootable CD/DVDs in it. Disconnect any external USB flash/thumb/hard drives.

If that does not work it is your primary hard drive. Either the data on it got corrupted, the drive is failing or has failed.

The first step is to try to repair Windows. Below is a decent tutorial but you can find more with a web search.

If Windows repair cannot find the hard drive the it has failed. You need to install a new hard drive and hope you have backup.

If Windows repair is buggy and gives you errors of missing data during and after the repair the disk is failing and "forgetting" data. Replace the disk.

Otherwise, repair will fix things so the only thing you need to do is scan for a virus or find the program that corrupted Windows.

Good Luck!

MY COMPUTER DISPLAYS A MASSAGE (c0000135) soon after turn on what to do for that problem

This error c0000135 can be very tedious. It is a Operating system error. Its not a problem with the computer.
This problem occurs when the file "winsvr.dll" becomes corrupt. This file resides in Root partition (Windows/ System32 folder. Usually when you have a corrupt file in Windows OS. It can be repaired by the Windows Installation disk. But in the case of this error you have to install another Windows Operating System like Windows NT, Windows 2000 or even Window XP on the same disk to access the files externally of your own Windows. Then you insert the Windows disk in the computer and repair it. As windows disk asks to repair while booting be careful do not let your Original OS get formatted. There is another method which can be a little difficult specially in the case of laptops that is you have to take out your hard disk and inserted in another computer and access your Windows from the Operating system of that computer and insert your installation disk in the computer from which you installed your Windows and repair it.

My toshiba L500 wont boot up when i turn it on it starts to load files then stops and tries to repair the problem but it does not

There are so many reasons boot up; i.e if system files corrupted by virus or hard disk index tables corruption or hdd partions corruption.

So as a initial trouble shooting try to do following things to resolve problem.

Option 1:

2. Select "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and Press Enter
3. When command prompt loaded then type follwing command and press enter

chkdsk /r c:

(If this command is not working in "safe mode with command prompt" then start computer with Bootable CD and Press "R" key when first time asked. It will open recovery console and type this "chkdsk /r "command again to repair disk.)

This command will scan your hdd and repair disk errors.

Have an acer computer, you turn it on, it goes to the acer screen then a window pops up that says not enough disk space for this app..or something like that. it turns off then goes back on, doing the same...

The Master Boot Record is corrupted so it cannot boot to operating system. Load your Windows CD and let it run, it will look like it is loading but it will eventually stop and ask if you want to continue or repair. Choose repair. That will fix it and then restart your computer.

Don't forget to rate this solution.

Toshiba Satellite P105-S6064 Laptop

You have a corrupt registry.
You can do a Windows repair (the easy way to solve this)
Or, you can do it the hard way.
Try the easy way first: Boot from your recovery disk and see if it will let you do a "repair." If not, get back online and I'll post the directions for doing it the long, hard way. But it works.
