Sounds like you have a bad device. Can you return it? Is it under warranty? You have changed cables, check pins in the DLink connector for bent pins? etc. I use a little vaseline on the copper to prevent oxidation, sounds weird, I know, but it works. I live it a humid climate. Try a Contact Spray for electronics, it's a life saver.
hi there ;
there is no such solution for ur problem ..... the only solution is to firstly reset the router for 30 seconds and then upgrade the firmware of the router ..... remove the powercord for 10 seconds ...
> Again redo the settings then ....
I have been able to connect via the wired connection from my desktop, but I am not able to get the wireless to work. My laptop recognizes the wireless network, but it will not connect...go figure! I also have gotten disconnected each time I have called for support today as well.
A wireless router if set at enable DHCP will always asign an IP address to each pc, and keep it, it will not alter until the next time your connected, and even if the first pc that you connected with, first next time, it will get the same ip address allocation.
The solution may be that your router is set to disconnect from the internet after a period of innactivity.
Go into router settings and look for something similair to (Idle connection-Never).
