Check your connection of the phone to the phone lines and make sure that the cords are connected firmly and that they do not have a short. Try using a different cord and see if that makes a difference. If it is wireless try moving closer to the base phone and see if it is any better. If none of those work, then try unplugging the phone and taking the battery out (if it has one) overnight to reset it and plugging it back and see if that works. It should be fixed then.

First try unplugging the base unit for at least 10 minutes to discharge the circuitry completely .

if that doesn't work then go with this option

Register the handset(s) to the base by following the instructions in the user's manual under the "Registration and Operation" section.

If you have already registered the handsets, follow the below instructions to de-register. Once complete with the de-registration process, following the instructions in the user's manual to register the handset(s) under the "Registration and Operation" section.

Note: There are two different versions of this unit; please follow the appropriate set of instructions for your version/unit.

If you have a tone/pulse switch on the bottom of base, follow the VERSION 1 instructions: VERSION 1: DE-REGISTER ALL HANDSET(S) (with tone/pulse switch on bottom of base):

1. Unplug power from the base and remove spare battery pack.

2. Hold down [PAGE] while reconnecting power. When the POWER light begins to blink, release the [PAGE] key.

3. Hold down [PAGE] key for 5 seconds. When the LINE IN USE light begins to flash, release the [PAGE] key.

4. The HANDSET CHARGING light will blink 5 times. Within 5 seconds from when it stops blinking, press [PAGE] once.
If you do not have a tone/pulse switch on the bottom of the base, follow the VERSION 2 instructions:
VERSION 2: DE-REGISTER ALL HANDSET(S) (without tone/pulse switch on bottom of base):

1. Unplug power from the Base. Remove spare battery pack.

2. Hold down [PAGE] while reconnecting power. When the base display reads 'Pr', release [PAGE].

3. Press [MENU]. The display will read 'rh'.

4. Press [SELECT] to choose h1, h2, h3, h4 or AL (all).

5. Press [TIME/SET] to confirm.

6. Unplug power from the base, then reconnect power to complete de-registration.

REMINDER: After de-registering the handset(s), follow the instructions in the user's manual under the "Registration and Operation" section to register the handset(s) again.

Model: kx-tg6641. Handsets are not ringing when somebody calling. During ringing there showing line thru bell at left bottom of the handset screen. Silent mode is turned off.

As per the display of your phone, I assumed that the bell is turned OFF that's why sound is not coming out from the speaker.

OK. Go to the handset direct command menu:

Press Menu
Enter code:
#238 (Silent mode 1=on 0=off)
Then Press 'Save'
To exit, press 'Off'

Other code that may help you:
#160 (0-6 Volume)
#161 (Tone)

Good luck!

A180 just showing base and no response

Is the ringer turned off? Or is the volume on the ring tone set too low? Another possibility is that the phone isn't set to receive incoming calls - the Siemens phones I've owned allowed one to specify which handsets could handle incoming calls and outgoing calls on each line.

Why cant i use my speakerphone anymore?

Most likely cause is power supply has shorted functions possibly due to overcharging or power surge I suggest openin up one of the handsets to look for burns on board or loose connections also if there is moisture or metal shavings

No dialling tone - just a beeping sound

It sounds like the handset is not 'registered' to the base station/cradle. Solution may be in the user handbook, which you should be able to download at :

My GE cordless phone won't ring. Everything else is working.

I solved this problem by cycling power off on the base station for 15 or 20 seconds. When it was plugged in again, the handsets started ringing again for incoming calls
