Question about Sony VAIO VGN-FJ270/B Notebook
In my SONY VAIO notebook I have a combination CDRW/DVD drive. The drive reads and plays CD's without a problem, but if you put a DVD in the drive it just spins the disc and NOTHING else happens. I just upgraded the hard drive, could this be a problem with theDVD decoder software? I thought I installed a decorder that I had downloaded? How can I tell? What should I do to troubleshoot the probem?
I would suggest trying WinDVD and see if that works. If so, then yes, it would be a decoder issue.
