I have a trail sentry bushnell camera that was given to me. I do not the password and I can not go any futher. It will not let change the password because I don't what the orginal password was.

the first time the camera is used the code should be 0000 unless previously changed,try removing and reinstalling the batteries,this hould start your set up again.
press and release the power button and wait for 4 H's,"HHHH" to appear,this may give you another chance to use 0000 or whatever you chose as your password.press enter after each digit,then press enter again.the indicator should display PASS.if it displays ERRO then it is the wrong password.there is a password recovery service provided by Bushnell at 1-800-423-3537 and press option 2,you will need to provide your serial number to the representative.
Trail Scout and Trail Sentry camera re-programming procedure. 1) Turn unit on and wait for screen to prompt password 2) Press the enter button and hold until camera switches into 5-digit password mode _ _ _ _ _. Trail sentry cameras will not indicate 5-digit mode on the screen, but will indicate _ _ _ _ instead of HHHH . 3) Press enter to confirm 5 digit mode (for trail scouts go to next procedure). 4) Enter 5-digit code 66214 and press enter button( trail sentry cameras will accept a 5th Digit after the 4th 0ne is entered in the _ _ _ _ screen. 5) Camera will now go into operating mode, and user can now program a new password from the setup mode
If the Bushnell Trail Sentry 11-9200 is turned on without an SD card in place, it may need to be reset. Reset it by pulling one of the batteries out partway, insert a new or empty SD card, and put the battery back in place. Read this Set Up Guide for instruction how to set up your passcode.
