Question about Audio & Video Receivers

Cannot install AMC-1/C to receive Deutsche Welle in my Pansat 250SM. It was not preprogrammed for AMC-1/C, so I locateed it in my 4DTV receiver and switched over to FTA on the 250SM set. I had received required Deutsche Welle inputs from Greg Fitzgerald, DW-TV U.S. contact, but have not been able to set up the satellite, although I had no trouble with the obtaining FTA from satellites that were preprogrammed in the 250SM, as AMC-1/C was not. For instance, could not input location 103 degrees, symbolrate (29270), Bandwidth, L Band frequency dependably. Although occasionally the correct values appeared, they returned to values taken from G-3/C. Request estimate for tech support prior to your action.

In reply to ronaldsuboc, "Try give the detail of your AMC-1/C", I assume he wants the specifications required to receive Deutsche Welle on my Pansat 250SM MPEG-2 receiver. These are the those received from Greg Fitzgerald, Deutsche Welle U.S. contact. Problem is how to input these specifications into the AMC-1/C slot I have created in the Pansat receiver, since they DID NOT preprogram. Please confirm that you have understood this problem or refer it to someone else. If you require more information from Greg Fitzgerald, call (508) 653-1644 or e-mail him at dwusa@mac.com.

UK, I have a sr7200 but no remote! Are there any compatable ones out there? I have been quoted £250.00 for a replacement

I bought a RC3200 programmable remote after my dog chewed the origional unit. £30 off ebay, works a great. It comes preprogrammed for all Marantz units. Only problem is that it is a bit hard on batteries.

How du you do a reset to factory settings?AMC R9 receiver Regards Pelle

Reset button is behind the input selector knob. Pull off knob, get a pen or unfolded paperclip and insert in hole at top and press. (same idea as if the cd tray is stuck in a computer).

Can anyone help me enable front surround on amc r9 reciever

You're not making this easy. What is the distinction between "not working" and "very hard to get them to..."?

For all we know the whole receiver is dead. What works? What doesn't?

Better questions with information in them get better answers.

Every time I turn my Yamaha RX-V565 on it switches to the AV1 input instead of staying on the HDMI input that it was on when I turned it off.

Set your TV, Sattellite receiver and audio where you want it when you turn on the set. Then hit the Scene button named "TV" and hold it down till the yamaha receiver says set complete and it will turn on to HDMI 2

Hey, I have a kenwood

Hi Justin, unfortunatly, if the codes they provided you dont work, then there may be no preprogrammed codes for your gear in that particular remote. I suggest that you replace the remote with a inversal one that will do your kenwood and the charter cable rig. Best bet is to go to a retailer that sells remotes and ask for one that will work both. Good luck

Remote will not work on my reciever

I am wondering if it a preprogrammed remote controller or not. If not, you have to reprogram it.
