Question about Dell XPS M1530 Laptop
I have purchased a new Dell XPS M1530 laptop. Whenever I reduce the birghtness control, the laptop start making a hissing sound which is quite a irratating sound. It stops as soon as i increase the birghtness to full. Any idea as to why this happens ?.
On your laptop, press and hold the <Fn> key while powering the system on. This will initiate a diagnostic routine to check your hardware. Since this is a new purchase, call Dell about this issue and relay results of diagnostics, even if no errors are detected and diags pass.
