Its seems that you have set the television to AUX. To cycle through the input line, you should have a Input, VCR or AV button on your remote control. Press that button untill you are back to your original TV line, Mike

What is the code to use for universal remotes


Hi,
i found that your brand is not RCA universal remote code list..
if your are using RCA controller follow the steps below
1. Press and hold CODE SEARCH until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release CODE
SEARCH.
2. Press and release the device button for the device’s code you are retrieving (TV,VCR or
DBS•CABLE). The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink once then remain lit.
Note: For AUX, press DVD•AUX
then the device button for the
code you are retrieving.
3. Press and release CODE SEARCH. The INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.
4. Starting with 0 on the keypad, press the number buttons in order (0-9) until the
INDICATOR LIGHT blinks.
5. The number which causes the INDICATOR LIGHT to blink is the first digit of your code.
6. Repeat step 4 until you have retrieved all three numbers in code
if you are not having RCA controller or the method above is not works then buy new GE universal remote
solution using GE controller
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.

YES YOU CAN DO IT BY YOURSELF. IF YOU HAVE A STEREO, IT SHOULD HAVE AUX INPUT...YOU WILL NEED AUDIO CABLES, RED AND WHITE...CHECK AT THE BACK OF YOUR TV, WHICH SAYS...AUDIO OUT..PLUG THAT TWO CABLES COLOUR CODE MODE...AND THIS END YOUR CABLE GOES IN YOUR STEREO AUX INPUT...ON YOUR STEREO SWITCH TO AUX AND SAME TIME ON YOUR TV....SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HEAR SOUND

On my LG TV, I don't know how to switch to a game.


Go to menu or inputs _change to input jacks you connected DVD/Game.too. For example If you use Aux change input to Aux,---if it is Video1 then change input to Video1.

Need to program a ge universal remote control to operate a Magnavox Total Control System TV


here is the 3 digit codes ive found to try 586, 651, 720, 666, 731, 800

MAGNAVOX ............ 0062 0004 0009 for digit codes
........................... 0456 0183 0226 0288
........................... 0008 0068 0075 0141

Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.) you wish to
program.

2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH/SETUP button on the remote
until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release.

3. Press and release the button for the device you are programming
(TV, VCR, DVD, etc.). For AUX, press AUX then the device button
you are assigning to AUX. The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink then
remain lit.

4. Enter the three or four digit code for your device using the number
buttons in the GE Universal Remote. After your code is entered the
INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.

5. Aim the remote at the device (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.) and press the
POWER button. Your device should turn off.

Note: If your device does not respond to the first code listed,
repeat steps with the next code. If none of the codes listed for your
device work for your device or your brand is not listed,
try the Code Search method described below.

USING CODE SEARCH FUNCTION
If your TV, VCR, DVD, etc. does not respond after you have tried all the codes
for your brand or if your brand is not listed, try searching for your codes by
following the steps below.

Have you done a hard reset? (Unplug the tv for a couple of hours, then power it up again).

Programming the Remote Control Remote-control switchover Press VCR/DVD, SAT/CABLE or AUX to select the device you want to control. To program the remote control Press and hold VCR.DVD, SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds until the LED on the remote control turns off. Release the button the LED will light again (the remote control enters the PROGRAMMING mode). Enter three-digit code number for your equipment. If the correct code number is entered, the LED blinks three times. If you enter a code not listed below, or you press any other buttons than SEARCH and 100+, the LED turns off. To search codes Press ad hold VCR/DVD,SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds unil the LED turns off. Release the button (the LED wil light again) and the remote control enters the PROGRAMMING mode. Press SEARCH. Press CH+/- to search codes downwards or upwards. Each time you press CH+/-, the code number decreases or increases by 1 while the remote control sends the code number for POWER button on your device. If the desired code number is found,press 100+ to program the code for your device until the LED blinks three times.Then the remote control exits from the PROGRAMMING mode and returns to norml operation. Or press any other button to exit from the PROGRAMMING mode after the LED blinks rapidly eight times, and the operation is not active. To check the current code number Press and hold VCR/DVD, SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds until the LED turns off.
