Maybe your system is corrupted or it has a virus...try to run it to safe mode first...

Bluetooth on my dell inspiron doesnt light up but the power is on and the monitor is only show auto detect then went black

You may have to pair each device again. The mouse is paired already but the keyboard and other devices you have to pair up with the computer again somewhere along the line they were turned off and deleted in the program files. You can get further assistance at Dell.com

Dell Dimension 5150. After bost my computer, I can the accounts icons on the screen, but I cannot slect the icon by mouse because all USB port did not work.

You can try this. On the log-on screen where you see your Account Icons try pressing ctrl alt delete. Some windows XP are configured that if ctrl+alt+delete are pressed on the lon-on screen the classic log-on screen window will appear, where you can type your username and password thus eliminating the use of the mouse.

Cant login to computer

That is a windows issue. If You have different names on the login screen try one of those. Try to get in then do a system restore.

Monitor goes blank after seeing XP during boot up.

did u replace the video card with the same kind of model ? i guess yes ... when system starts hit the f8 key and than go in to safe mode ... mouse wont work so use arrow on the keyboard .. and in the safe mode just log in to admin account if available or login to ur account and see if that still happens .. and if it doesnt ... remove the drivers for the graphic card from add and remove programs and restart the system and go in the normal mode and than install the drivers again ... and if the display disappears in the safe mode or u have install a different graphic card than ... reseat the memory cards and that should resolve the issue .... if that doesnt work out when the system starts hit f1 and stay on the BIOS screen for 30 mins if the system doesnt loose display than u need to reinstall OS ... that will surely work out ... the resolutions given above if u follow them correctly u will have a working system in no time

Curser hangon after longging with hourglass appearnce

Let us try these things, according to my knowledge i'll do my best:

i) try connecting another mouse (not ur mouse)  to your computer. just to make sure that ur mouse          doesnt have any component failure internally

....if this doesnt work then go for..............next step..............

ii) try to 'format'(load OS Windows XP again on) your system

iii) if the same problem persist, try run antivirus scan(AVG, NORTON, TREND MICRO, BIT DEFENDER)     on your system and  again format your system(imp)

iv) if problem is still there then it is problem with your mouse,,,,

Frozen mouse with a touch pad laptop computer

Check your drivers. Go into the device manager (start>control panel>system>hardware>device manager>human interface device) . If it shows a big yellow question mark, than it is a driver problem.

I would suggest that you either install or download the latest drivers for the mouse, and you can do this even without checking for a hardware conflict as stated above.

You can also access the control panel and trouble shoot your mouse through the mouse icon.

Even sometimes this may not work.....

I had an IBM brand optical mouse that continually plague me with problems until I gave it away with a computer that I built. The person who has it is still have occasionally issues with the mouse even with the proper drivers installed. I believe that it is a connection issue because sometimes the mouse will start working when you jiggle the male USB connection.

I plugged in the cordless mouse but nothing happens, the cursor doesn't move. nothing.

you need to press the connect button on the receaver and then on the mouse so they connect with each other. if it doesnt work try again, if it still doesnt work restart your pc and check the connections and batterys.
