I have zenith dual vcr/ dvd player and no manual. I can not turn off the proggressive scan on this xbv342 model. Could anyone help.

- I had the same problem and I did what you told me to do. Thank you so very much. God bless you, cause I am a broke med student who can not afford another DVD player until after my school loans are paid off. LOL. I have a Go Video DV-2140. I got Progressive scan to turn off while starting a dvd. Hit stop and then hold for over 10 seconds. It poped back to a normal screen. Thanks for the tip.

Try this to disabel the progress scan mode:
Pointing the remote at the player, press the STOP key to stop any disc
that is playing. Next, press the STOP key again and hold it for five
seconds before releasing it. This should turn the Progressive Scan
off.

i have xbv342 and kost my manuel my progressive scran mode is on and I can't get it off. I tryed the stop tape and hold stop for 5 sec. that didn't work help
