Re: buzzing sound

The horizontal output is shorted ,has to be replaced BUT solder all connections for three inches around the this horizontal and solder them well or the output will blow again, there is especially a small coil in the drive line to the base that causes most of the problem

Was working fine last night ,went to turn it on and you can hear a buzzing by where you plug in your jacks a bee,or high pitch has no picture or sound.only sound you hear is this buzzing

Sounds like your power supply is causing the problem. Unplug the TV wait 10 minutes, look in the back for a red button (circuit breaker) push it in. If this does not work you have a low voltage power supply fault.

Have a 27 in Rca t.v and it will not turn on. I also tried unplugging it, but still the t.v will not come back on how do i change the fuse

FORGET the fuse for the moment. If you unplug the set and plug it in do you hear a high pitched whinning sound?

This model is prone to the High voltage transformer failing and usually the Horz output transistor at the same time.

You hear a buzz if you unplug it and plug it back in?

Loud buzzing noise when turning on

It sounds like a bad internal connection or a component failing. If the picture still is very good take it to a known good repair shop.

High pitch buzzing.

Hi there
Let's make ur problem a bit clear. "white lines" how? where?
meaning retrace lines with full raster or a single vertical line?
buzzing sound? without even turning the power switch of the TV to "ON" or when u just plug the power cord?
I'll check for schema, mean while can u tell me where the resistor leads to? is it a fusible resistor? if so , to which area the resistor suppliers power?

mine does this same thing and in the manual it says that this is an indication that the bulb is about to need replacement. I did this and still the same issue. The only small solution I have found is to disconnect power and try to turn it on until it finally does. I am searching for a REAL solution though.

Buzzing after 1 hour

Is the buzzing coming from the back of the TV, staying loud even when the volume is turned all the way down, or is it coming from the speakers?
