    Greetings!

What is th type of your computer? Anyway, if you have the cd installer for your motherboard, there is an option there if you want to install a usb port (in order that your computer can recognize the usb port)

    Thanks.

1) Pls go to the setup of your PC and make sure that your USB controller is enable if it is on Disable change it to enable.
2) If it is USB connector in front of your system, open your CPU and check if the cable that connect the USB connector to the main board is well connected both sides.

Hi...
are u use win98 OS? if yes, u need to update the driver or use the usb driver included on the device you plug in(printer, camera, webcam or flashdisk)
Otherwise, you can upgrade you OS to WinME or Win XP.

1 usb port on toshiba satellite c660 doesn't recognize mouse

If is just a USB port, then it could be a driver problem, or that USB hub is turn off, or is a fried/bad USB port. Try another USB device on that port too.

Printer not recognized on K8Upgrade-1689. When

Make sure you have the latest USB driver from the manufacturer, ASRock. It's the first selection when you Google your Motherboard model code.

Does the printer come with a CD? If so, unplug the printer USB cable, reboot, and run the CD. It will hopefully ask you to plugt in the USB cable after the proper HP driver has been installed.

Driver

Hi,
For any computer there will be at least 4 usb ports. 2 at the front and other 2 at the back side of cpu. If any one is not recognizing then insert it in different usb port. If any of the port is not working then install the driver for your usb port. Download the usb driver from the below link.
