Can't calibrate joystick

I am having a problem calibrating my IGn Enterinment 6 button joystick. I can't get the stick to register my input when I pull back on it. It just shows a little movement, and doesn't register all the way back. Ive tried reseting to defaults and calibrating. Also using different USB ports. I would be grateful of any help, Thanks.

How do I calibrate this with X Plane 9?

Calibrating Joystick Hardware
This is a step of vital importance that often gets left out. Keep in mind that X-Plane is capable of interfacing with most modern joysticks and pedals and such-forth. Some devices may send a signal from 0 to 1,000 when you move a given control from one limit to the opposite and another may send a signal (given the same movement of your hand or foot) from -6,000 to 3,992 or something. How is X-Plane to know what the limits are that your joystick will create? Easy! You tell it. You do this by clicking the button labeled "Calibrate Joystick Hardware" on this window. This tells X-Plane that you are next going to give it your full range of signals for every possible input you have. To do this, just move every one of your variable controls (that is, your sliders) through their full and complete range of motion. You can do this quite rapidly as X-Plane can log and remember all the different inputs at once. So, after you click the button labeled "Calibrate Joystick Hardware" move your stick or yoke from full right to full left deflection, from full back to full forwards. Do the same thing for any engine controls you may have, like throttles or propellers.

I need calibration software for the logitec 3d pro joystick. will not maintain level flight in AP (flight sim ).

this was not originaly my post but i saved it.and it worked for me. HOW TO CALIBRATE THE LOGITECH EXTREME 3D PRO JOYSTICK
I just figured out how to calibrate this joystick. I am using Windows XP. I assume it will work with all Windows operarting systems though.

Go to Control Panel, click on "Game Controllers", or however you get to your joystick settings. Hold down the "Ctrl" (control key) and the "Shift" key together - at the same time, THEN click your mouse on the "Properties". This should take you to a different calibration screen that you would get to without holding the two keys together. IMPORTANT - Click on the "Test" tab first. If you go to the settings tab first, it likely will not work. Without doing anything else after clicking on the "Test" tab, next click on the "Settings" tab. Then click on the "Calibrate" button below. Click "next". Click the thumb button on the left side of the joystick which should bring you to another screen. Then follow the prompts......
* On the "axis calibration", move your joystick in full circles, making sure the "+" symbol moves around the far margins of the square. After a few complete circles, click the "next" button with your mouse.
* On the next screen, click the left button on the joystick again, which should bring you to the next screen. Move the throttle lever back and forth a few times. Then click "next" again.
* On the "Z rotation screen", move the joystick to the left and right (rotate it) a few times. Then click "next" and then "finish" then "ok". Thats it. It should be calibrated now. Hope this helps everyone with problems.

Do I need a driver for wingman attack 2 on Windows XP, I can't get it to work. I'm very very new at this.

The drivers from Logitech help and can be downloaded from thier support site. The software they have lets you use profiles for all the games you play with the joystick, that way you don't have to constantly calibrate it for each game. The windows drivers will work the joystick....just have to go to control panel, game controllers and enable and calibrate the joystick.

Logitech zero calibration reset method

Have you tried using the Logitech calibration uninstall tool that erasers all joystick calibration from windows.

Download and run the Logitech Clear calibration (LWS_CLRC.EXE).

The Clear calibration Utility was developed by Logitech to resolve calibration problems with Logitech digital gaming devices.

NOTE: This utility strips all calibration information in the Windows Registry for all gaming devices. This includes any non-Logitech gaming devices that have been installed.

You may also want to uninstall and reinstall the Joystick Software as well. In some cases, if the calibration issue is within a game, you could try uninstalling and reinstall the game.

Please refer to your game manufacturer for instructions on uninstalling or configuring the game.

Note:
This calibration tool specifically mentions the Wingman Joystick, However, it works for ALL Logitech and NON logitech Gaming Joysticks and Gamepads.

Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital Calibration

Hello there
Usually these JS automatically calibrate when intalled, but...some like olders models, have problems, with sensors, or bad calibrations inside the rotor ans sensors area. for those fixes, you have to open carefully the JS and look for the sensors that usually are two optical sensors, and clean good, with computer air spray, sometimes that did the trick, but others, its a sensors, problem. you have to RMS the product, or use your warranty.
hope these helps!

Thrust in FSX won't reach higher than 55% even with lever at full

This is either a calibration error, or a faulty stick. Nothing else can cause this. make sure you have the latest drivers installed or one's that it came with. Some operating systems will see the stick and load generic drivers which sort of work, but not fully. Always use the manufacturers drivers and install it using the correct route as in the installation as there are ways to install drivers that do not register them properly and you think they are installed but are not. Good luck with it.

Pioneer AVIC-D1 Touch Screen Recalibration

If your pioneer AVIC car navigation unit does not register your touches or the wrong button is “pressed”, you need to re-calibrate your screen’s digitizer.

1-Hold the Eject button down until the face of the unit drops all the way
2-Using a pen hold down the reset button (just above the joystick) and the navigation disc eject simultaneously.
3-Release the reset button.
4-Release the dvd eject button next. The display will read “press reset”
5-Push the joystick up two times.
6-Push the joystick down twice.
7-Press the joystick in.
8-The service menu will appear after a short pause. You can navigate the service menu using the joystick.
9-Chose the first menu option and press in on the joystick.
10-Trace the screen with a stylus.
11-"P.ADJ" is the back button
12-Chose the second menu item in order to calibrate the touch screen. Use a stylus again and tap the "+" sign on the screen. (You may have to touch slightly off center if the digitizer is damaged. In which case things will still be off but it will be much better.)

Well.. if you have windows xp.. then you can calibrate your controller fairly easily.

Go here:

Control panel:Printers and Other Hardware:Game Controllers:(your controller should be in the list):Advanced:Calibrate

This should solve your problem ;)

Normally there is no reason to re-calibrate the Logitech Cordless Action Controller for PlayStation2. In rare cases where the mini-joysticks may need to be re-calibrated, you can use the process below. Please note that this process only works for the Logitech Cordless Action Controller for PlayStation2.
  1. Remove one battery.
  2. Hold the L1 and L2 buttons while re-inserting the battery. (NOTE: Do not touch or move the mini-joysticks at all during this time. It is very important that the mini joysticks are allowed to center themselves during this step or the calibration procedure will not be successful.)
The mini-joysticks should now be re-calibrated. Please note that in some cases you may need to resynchronize the gamepad and receiver after this procedure.
