I am having the same problem. I can see the photos on my PC in iTunes. iTunes syncs with my iPhone 3g without a hitch...all music/videos/applications etc are transferred fine. But nothing happens for Photos. The status bar says iTunes is copying the photos to the phone, but can't find the photos when completed.

    Help.

    Tks.

You'll need a PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista with iTunes installed. All recent Apple PC's running OSX should have iTunes already installed.

As part of the iTunes installation apple installs the "Apple Mobile Device drivers" this will allow the PC to detect the Camera/Scanner part of the iPhone. When the iPhone is plugged in the PC should first ask if you want to import the photos.

The wizard should be fairly clear from then on...

How do i transfer files, contact, photos to a computer

What kind of cell phone do you have? Is it a smartphone?
If you're an iPhone user, then it would be easy to transfer photos to your computer. With the iPhone USB cable and a computer, you are able to transfer photos from iPhone to computer easily, but before moving photos, you should shut down auto sync of iTunes to prevent the data in their tablets. You can use your computer to cut or copy photos from iPhone to computer. You will need to connect iPhone to computer with the USB cable to finish the job. The phone will be recognized as a digital camera, and it allows you to view the Camera Roll contents on your computer. So you can transfer photos from iPhone to PC for a backup.
If you want to transfer other files like contacts, notes, messages from iPhone, please take a look at this guide. http://www.leawo.org/tutorial/transfer-photos-from-ipad-to-pc.html

Where did you receive that photo? On your computer or in email? Usually you can transfer photos from your computer to your iPhone via iTunes, Dropbox app or iTransfer.

Transfer iPhone photos to home computer

When you connect your iPhone to your computer you can access the photos that are on there on your desktop. If you have a Mac they will already be in iPhoto waiting to be imported. If not then you can just click on your iPhone in My Computer and you can access the pictures that way.

Transfer photos from my iphone to my toshiba laptop?

You can use iTunes or iCloud to backup you photos now. But you may be tired of using them for normal people. The other way is to use 3rd party tools. Most of them are not using for free, but they are much easier to use. Like FonePaw iOS Transfer, you would love it when you see the interface. So friendly for everyone to transfer files from iPhone to laptop. You may have a try.
And there is the tutorial

I need to transfer some photos and videos from my iphone to computer. How do I do this?

First you need to authorize your PC with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Besides what mentioned above, I like to share you a article about transferring files from iPhone to computer, which included transferring iPhone photos and videos to computer/iTunes.
Hopefully this works for all of you like it just worked for me!
