I can get no sound out of the TV- I have checked with another tv at the site and the sound is fine.
Is there some switch to turn on the speakers?
I have read the manual, checked the menu twice with no results. I hear a fant click when powered up

I have gone thru the menu and can not seem to locate it if it exists. Seems as if they are not plugged in
is that possible
I am seeking help before I haul it in for a fix

I have a sharp aquos 27 inch flat screen LCD, and the sound goes in and out...one minute we have sound and then it just goes out. This has been happening since the tv was brand new. My husband was convinced it was our cable box, but we have confirmed that it is definitely the t.v. and were wondering if there is anything that we could do to fix the problem before taking it in for service????

Just go back over it patiently double checking as you go reading it thru. Make sure you have connected it right. You will not get sound if it is connected wrong.

I think these are the ones that you need to replace the heatsink goop with the silicone pad and the amp chip.
