Locks up I bought this system over a year go, and I am pretty happy for the most part... but it has this glitch, almost like a computer. Sometimes it will lock up, or freeze, when I select DVD/CD function... it will just sit and blink "Reading" forever, and nothing else will work after that. You have either unplug it, or turn the power swith off & on in the outlet to get it to respond again, otherwise it won't respond to anything. I've tried waiting it out as long a six hours before, and it doesn't come out of this "freeze". It seems almost like a processor problem, like it gets too much info, then locks... but I'm not an authority on that. My sister also had this problem. (because I was happy with mine, and had no problems for about 3 1/2 months, so I recommended that she pick one up). Then the problem started. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds like a programing problem. Most car accessories are controlled by a pcm or bcm (powertrain control module) or Body control module).. You call it the car computer. Sometimes a spike in voltage or some other abnormality can cause a glitch. Take it to the dealership and have them run a diagnostic and reflash the module.

sometimes the dial rings slip on these locks and sometimes it is just the spring release is stuck. you can try and spray some lube down into the lock and let it sit for awhile,, try the combo again,, if that does not work then you might consider maybe replacing the lock with something newer and more reliable.

I also have an Auria EQ5588, the on screen prompts are the same as my APEX 32" 720p I bought over a year ago so either both are the same company or they share the same software. Both are Chinese Mfg. so who knows??? If your factory remote doesn't work call the phone # on the warranty page. There are universal remote codes listed on P. 6 of the owners manual if you are trying to code a cable or dish remote. There is also a reference to LG codes which are carried by Best Buy, Perhaps they can help you out if nothing else helps. The only glitch I've noticed is switch back to TV before turning off your blue ray player. If I turn off my Sony blue ray player and then go back to TV mode I get no sound, turn off the TV and restart it and it's fixed. Seems to be an issue between the brands. I'm pretty happy with the Auria since I got it for $700. Could have spent a lot more!!!!

Garmin has a software upgrade that can fix most of the glitches encountered. Its available through their website for free.

do you have by any chance a wifi dongle connection for your internet! as, some dongles interfere with the operation of the the Vista system a glitch that cant be rectified other than using the ethernet cable. MicroNEXT have neat little dongle which you can use with no hastles whatever. You can get one through amazon.

An F2 error on these is a shorted keypad (either the main keypad or the transparent one in front of the tocuh screen). In some cases, this is a pretty easy do-it-yourself repair. Please contact me for an estimate and DIY tips.

run a status check on the pcm. sometimes those probs are in the computer. the loghts will come on when the remote is activated, and the door locks should lock automatically when you start to drive. if that doesn'tr happen, suspect a computer glitch.

It sounds like the sonata computer might be corrupted. Do you use mp3, or ipod to play music through your stereo and or do you play burned music? It's my belief that the computer can become corrupted from maleware code. Also do you know if there was any command start installed or removed? Command starters are notorious for causing computer glitches and malfunctions in the locking mechanisms.

I worlked for Microsoft and they always say it is not their fault. Try getting a driver from the HP website for the all in one.
I did support for Windows XP and there is not glitch.

audio "glitches" or dropout is a typical symptom of tape path misalignment. find a good local repair shop (are there any more of us still around?) and they should be able to perform this relatively simple alignment.
