Question about Televison & Video
Phillips 53 inch
I assume you are talking about a rear projection TV, and this would be an older set. In any event, between the CRTs and the lenses, there are chambers which hold coolant. This tend to get murky after a while and need to be changed out. There is a lot of disassemby, cleaning, and reassembly involved; so, I recommend hiring a proffessional. Also, if you live in a dusty environment, you might first want to try cleaning the top of the lenses and the projection mirror. Be careful with the mirror - they are very thin and easily broken.
