SOURCE: bought a proscanlcd hdtv 32lb30Q unable to get cable signal

Heres The Order Exactly As It Should Be. Cable From Wall To The In On The digital cable box. Then From The Out On The Digital Cable Box Run A Cable To The In On The Dvd/Vhs Player. Then From The Out On The Dvd/Vhs Player Run A Cable To The Cable In On Your Tv.
Power OFF the dvd Player Turn On The Cable Box Then Turn On The Tv To Channel 3 Or 4. You Should Have Your Digital Cable Showing On Either Channel 3 or 4. Now Hit Cable On Your Remote And Change Channels.

SOURCE: no owners manual can't get new blue ray dvd player to work on tv

Here is the manual:
http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/JVG%20HD52G56G.pdf

When using the HDMI connections you may have to tell the DVD to output to that port.  Also you may have to connect additional sound cables from the DVD output to the TV.

SOURCE: manual for mitsubishi vs 5043 cannot program for

If you go into the main menue with the Mitsubishi remote, there should be a set up icon for programing stations. It should give you a selection for cable and or standard tuning. Select cable then press auto program.
Hope this got it done,

As long as your television and system both have (audio/out jacks from tv, audio/in to system) and cables it should hook up. Not real sure what you mean about directions for the remote, the system I have didn't come with directions just starts working as soon as the system is hooked up. Hope it helps

Only front speakers are working. I switched audio settings to 5.1 channel and then the back and middle speakers show up on the screen as highlighted. Meaning that I can switch them to small or large. ...

You need to run a digital audio cable or a Toslink fiber-optic audio cable from your cable box or DVR directly to your home theater system. You will not get 5.1 out of your TV set.

I wanted to know if there is a way to hook up the sound from a Panasonic DMP-BD655P-K Blu-Ray player to my existing Yamaha DVX C310SW home theater system. I know I can hook the Blu Ray directly to the TV...

Yes this can be done. You have several options for audio hookup. Stereo 2-channel (white and red) RCA cables, digital audio (optical or coaxial) or HDMI. Your home theater must have the inputs available such as optical, coaxial etc. Typically the stereo 2-channel RCA is the simple way. Just connect from the Bluray audio outputs to the Home theater inputs (white and red) for stereo sound. Select the input on the home theater. For Dolby Digital 5.1 use optical digital audio cable (black port) or coaxial (orange RCA port) from Bluray to similar home theater input.

Hooked up to what? Be specific. Volume off, muted?

Did you select a source (input) correctly, say, CD? Is IT correctly set up to send audio out to the YAS-70? Tell us something we can work with.

Hook up

Karri, I do not have the photo of the back, but attached is a general wiring diagram for any Audio-video Home theater system. If you have a Home Theater Receiver, then hook it up as the diagram. If not, hook it up per the comments in the diagram. This is how I hooked up my ONKYO HT system with my SONY Combo DVD recorder and my Mitsubishi TV. One thing to note on Combos, is that the VCR Tape section will not play through the High Definition connections (HDMI, and Digital Audio). You have to use the older method of Audio-Video (AV) cables or the Co-axial antenna cables. You can ask more questions if there is any confusions. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
