HP Officejet 9110

Where can I buy the starter cds from for this product. All of the functions are working except the scanner. I have tried HP at least 15 times and they are useless.

    Me too. I thought VueScan (www.hamrick.com) would take of it, but VueScan uses HP's drivers.

Call HP technical support and you can purchase the start up disk thru them . I purchased it for my 9110 and it cost me 17.00 and change. Shipped it 2 day air. But do not make the same mistake as I.... there are 2 start up disks make sure you order both...Make sure they send you both because I am not having a problem getting them to send me the 2nd disk

The failed firmware update probably ruined the printer electronics. Have you tried downloading the firmware again? Does the printer have a "CLEAR ALL" or "RESET" button or function?

Need to replace a fax modem for HP Officejet 9110 which was pulled in order to use machine on a secure system. Now want to remove from network and use as Fax only. Need model/make of fax modem to install...


Other than some minor pieces and accessories, HP doesn't make too many parts available direct to consumers. Almost everything on the parts page for this model needs to be ordered through HP's reseller network. Try contacting one of those vendors to see if they can identify and supply the part you need. (The only name I recognize is Vance-Baldwin; they were our preferred vendor when I was in service for a large retailer.)

HP 9110 all in one's scanner will not work


I have a 9110 and a laptop running Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7. Prior to upgrading the IE from 6 to 7, I was able to run the HP Director and fax, scan, whatever from the laptop. After upgrading to IE 7, HP Director quit working. I contacted both Microsoft and HP and they pointed fingers at each other and said yes, upgrading to IE 7 broke the HP Director. Both said fixes were being developed, but that was months ago and I have not heard of any fixes.
I did find a workaround that allowed me to scan documents to the PC (faxing worked fine manually). Assuming the 9110 all-on-one’s drivers are still on the PC, and that the PC is connected to the 9110, go to “start, settings, control panel” and once in control panel, select “scanners and cameras”. If the drivers are still there, you should see the HP 9110 under “device”. Highlight the HP 9110 and double click. A wizard should start and it will guide you through the scanning process. If the 9110 does not appear in the “scanners and camera” box, you will need your 9110 CD and click on “add an imaging device”, which will start another wizard. It’s not as easy as using HP Director, but at least I can use the scanner. Hope this works for you.

Nothing to do with the driver, I'd say the cartridges are your problem, skipping lines and missing colour are indications of needing new ink carts, are carts new HP ones?
