With the symptoms you describe i would suspect a intermittent heater element fault as you are getting earth leakage current which is tripping the whole supply rather than a current overload which would just trip the socket circuit breaker. Get the heating element checked over first as this is the most likely cause.

I own a zanuusi zwd1680w. washer dryer. The problem is when set to drain or if required to drain during a cycle it goes through the motions and hangsup, the water does seem to drain out quite quickly and...

Hi you dont mention any error codes if there problems with draining e20 is displayed any blockage in the pump or drain passage can cause this . however you suggest the draining is ok so this is more likley to be a fault in the water level control. an easy fix would be if you found a blockage in the pressure chamber at the base of 2 x 8mm tubes(from pressure switches) located near the sump hose at the bottam of the drum. undissolved detergent is normally the culprit.jw

Machine stops half way through program

One looses touch with all the codes available, but normally if washer stops mid cycle its due to a blocked or faulty drain pump. OR incomming water is to slow or defective inlet sensor. Switch off and start from the beginning. See if you can get machine to drain by moving the timer etc. If not, rectify pump problem. Take note where in the cycle the problem arises.

My ZWD1680W stoped half way through a cycle flashed up E20 i draind i t tryed to spin got half way through and went of no power at all NOW

It still seems that something is stuck in the pump causing the machine to do nothing check the filter and pump again whilst the filter is out get a torch and look inside the end of the filter housing, now put the control to spin or drain and see if the pump blade is spinning if not then there is either something stuck in the pump or the pump motor is faulty and needs replacing.
Good luck.

Hotpoint WM64 keeps fusing and cutting out

it's possible that one of the carbon brushes have worn down to the bottom and it is sparking on the motor causing it to trip the fuse. It's just one possibility. Have you checked the carbon brushes are connected properly and that they have not 1) worn down and 2) that the wires are connected to them correctly.

Washing Machine

I don't have any experience with Zanussi, but sounds to me like the inlet water valve needs to be replaced.
