Pavilion EZ4125 will not boot past the HP boot seletion screen.

Did it give you any blue screen error. Did you try booting from the CD. Its definitely something to do with the OS. Load the CD and run the setup and try to repair the OS.

Unit will not boot from cd/dvd, drive test good.

The main programing on the motherboard (bios) should recognize and read from the CD drive, If it doesn't then there is three possibilities as to the problem. 1- the bios have glitched, so, start by doing a bios flash. 2- the optical eye or the reader board in the CD drive has gone out, and the drive will need replaced, 3- there is a malfunction with the motherboard, and the board will need to be replaced. These three are the only possibilities and fixes for this problem.

I cant boot from the CD/DVD drive.

Watch on the bottom of the screen when the PC is re-booting for a "Boot from CD" message, it may go by quickly, and hit any key to boot from the CD.

EvoN200 still not working, see comment

Im new to this site, so sorry if this has been mentioned before, but the screen quotes you receive seem to indicate that it is trying to boot from a networking server, as if your laptop is a workstation with no operating system. If you are able in the bios may be a menu something similair to boot from LAN, this should be dissabled. Did you have an operating system already on or is there need for a system repair/re-install.
