Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
And each time i switch on i have no wireless internet and have to use the intranet yellow cable and phone aol. BUT each time they talk me thru it and its fine but as soon as i switch off my laptop the tiny computer on the toolbar has a big red cross on it? i am now resorting to not ever switching my laptop off which obviously is not very eco friendly ! desperate for advice please so i do not lose internet broadband again. i am not computer literate and all i want is internet, thanks
Do you have Xp or Vista?
The little computer on the tool bar is one of your network connections (you have 2, one wireless and one wired)
It ssems like the laptop is not connecting automatically to your wireless network. To change this go into whatever program you are using to configure wireless (it may be configured by netgear or by windows) and make sure you have your wireless netowrk selected as conect automatically and at the top of your list.
Hope that helps.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
