Tips for a great answer:
For details about how to load an envelope into the printer, see
the user's manual.
The procedure for performing envelope printing is as follows:
1. Fold down the envelope flap.
2. When loading the envelope in the rear
tray, orient the envelope so that the flap is on the left and the folded surface

Flip up the printer's output tray to reveal the input tray below and remove any paper in the input tray. Insert up to five envelopes into the input tray, print-side down, and slide the width guide so it touches the edges of the envelopes but does not bend them.
Fold the output tray back down and flip out the extension piece at the end of the tray. Fold up the paper stop at the end of the output tray's extension to keep the envelopes from falling out of the output tray.
Click "File" at the top of the software program you are using to create the text to be printed on the envelopes. Click the "Properties" or "Setup" button in the window that opens, then click on the tab labeled "Paper/Features."
Click the "Type Is" pull-down menu and select "Envelopes." Select the "Size Is" drop-down menu and click on the size of the envelopes you have loaded in the input tray. If you do not find the correct size, click "Custom" and type the height and width in the window that opens, then click "Save."
