Hi,
I assume that you mean the Maxi Cosi Priorifix?
At the top of the leg (that extends to the floor of your car) there is a button (which, if connected to the Isofix points will be red) push this button in as far as it will go and the seat will release from the Isofix points.

I hope this helps.

Hi - The yellow plastic guides are only for your conveniance if you need them. Some cars have very prominant IsoFix points and you do not need to use the guides - this is fine. As long as the indicators go green to show correct fitting it is fine.

Maxi Cosi Cabrio ISOFix Base Stuck In Car

What vehicle is this stuck in? On some vehicles, with a bit of feeling around, you can sometimes access the mount rail from inside the trunk. You might be able to hook the latch with a blunt, flat blade screwdriver enough to release it.

Does maxi cosi cabriofix easy base require anything to be removed from it before fixing it? we cant find where the button is that fixes it to the seat

Hi

Can you clarify - what button are you looking for?

The EasyFix base is fitted into the vehicle using the IsoFix points OR the 3 point seabelt. (Never both) The carseat then clicks onto the base and the metal rods on the underside of the CabrioFix carseat are grabbed by clamps on the base.

The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix can be fitted using the EasyFix base (IsoFix or seatbelt fitted) the EasyBase and EasyBase 2 (fitted with seatbelt only) or the FamilyFix base (IsoFix only). If you do not have IsoFix points you need either an EasyBase or EasyBase 2 to be fitted with seatbelt.
