Blank copies from copier

You don't say what model your fax is.

In general. If when copying you get a Full BLACK page printed then the scanner lamp is not lit. As no light is reflected into the image scanner, it interprets this as BLACK information so therefore only black is printed. Look into the ADF while the document is being scanned and I bet you will see no green light at all. A new Contact image sensor should cure it.

Document roller up & down

On the Canon copy machines when this happens, normally it is a bad wiring harness....sounds like your switch is good, but the signal for 'roller down' is not reaching the main board, thus it repeatedly cycles up and down. Try continuity test on the wiring harness from switch connector end to main board connector end...it's a pain to do this, however, when you find the open wire connection, it's worth it.

Paper jammed as it was coming out

First, I prayed for help since I was using the copier when it jammed and then I very carefully pulled a small bit of paper on one side being certain not to tear it, then the other side. After about 30 minutes by using a eyeglass screw driver to help the paper come out, it pulled out and looked like an accordion. I put the toner back in and it worked fine. After reading the reviews, we won't be making double sided copies on this machine.
Thanks for your assistance.

Loading paper in fax machine

Relax ti mal- the rollers are not picking up the paper because they are dirty or worn out.

Try this clean the rollers with alcohol and try, are the rollers smooth or do they have a rough feel? if smooth replace and it should be good as new.

Good luck
