Thanks. I did the following additional steps to finally get it work. This only applies to LG K750.

    1. Go to the main menu and select connectivity.

    2. Select Bluetooth.

    3. Select Paired devices and press option.

    4. Choose allow connection and select "Always connect".

That how it works for me. The default option was "Ask before connecting" which caused my file transfer to fail. I think my new phone is faulty =(

Hey! i also had the same problem. i could only send files through bluetooth but couldn't receive them but recently i found out it's becuase my handset common memory was full. so if you delete some files u have on ur handset memory..u may be able to receive files again. this worked for me but im not sure if you have the same problem as i did. i thought that the files received on bluetooth would go to my mircoSD memory chip thingy but apparently it didnt. SOOOO if ur able to send files through bluetooth it should mean that the bluetooth connection itself isn't the problem....i think. it's just ur handset common memory that is full. u can go check the memory space by going to Setting ->Memory manager ->Hanset common memory.  Hopefully this helps!

If other devices cannot find your phone, so your phone is in hidden mode. check your visibility in bluetooth menu and make sure it is in "show to all" mode. I hope this helps...

I have a problem with my Samsung GT-S3653W, I want to send files to my sisters phone through Bluetooth but it always says no device found even though the Bluetooth of my sisters phone was already turned...

There are two possible solutions:-

1. Check that visibility of your sister's phone is either 'ON' or 'VISIBLE TO ALL'. Not sure what the exact option should be but check that 1st.

2. If this doesnt help then check whether you can send files to any other bluetooth enabled phone. Also check whether your sister's phone can receive files from other phones. This can point out the problem.

If you're trying to send/receive files via Bluetooth, you'll need to go into the Windows Marketplace and download a Bluetooth File Send application. The Bluetooth that comes with most mobile phones is restricted to using Bluetooth Headsets.

How to transfer music contacts videos etc from LG cookie phone into I phone

Hi, there are different ways you can send data on phone, you can use a blue tooth device
Below is a step of how you an send Data like video, music etc from LG to iphone.

How to Send Data to a Phone Via Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a type of technology found in electronics that allows you to send and receive signals and files wirelessly. Most commonly used in cell phone headsets, many people also use Bluetooth to transfer data. There is no set protocol for all devices, so instructions for use vary from one device to another. Check out the following loose guidelines for sending music from one Bluetooth phone to another, or from a Bluetooth-enabled computer to phone.

Instructions

Verify that Bluetooth is turned on or enabled in both your devices. Most cell phones will have a Bluetooth menu in their Settings or Tools. For computers, you may see a Bluetooth icon in your system tray. If unsure, check your product manual for specific instructions.

Follow the instructions to pair (connect) your two devices. If you are asked for a passkey, try entering 0000 which is usually the default for any device.

When prompted on the other device, give permission for the original device to access it.

If transferring from phone to phone

Navigate to the song you want to send and hit the button that takes you to the options menu. Choose the option to send your song; depending on the brand of phone it may say "Send" or "Move."

The next menu should ask if you want to use a text message or Bluetooth to move or send the file. Choose Bluetooth.

When prompted on the phone receiving the file, accept it.
If transferring from computer to phone

Look for an option to browse the contents of the phone. Navigate to the data file or Multimedia folder on your phone.

Navigate to the place on your computer where your Data file is kept in a separate window.

Drag the file from its original location to the correct folder on your phone.

Accept the file when prompted by your phone.

Tips & Warnings

Pairing is usually the most difficult part of the process. Make sure you read your manual on both devices if it isn't working for you. If you don't see the menu to move or send your videos, your phone manufacturer may not allow it. Check your manual or with your carrier's tech support website. This process usually applies to MP3s and not ringtones.

Hope that helped.

Good luck.

I have an L.G. Shine and cant get the blue tooth to work

The bluetooth of the phone is in the settings of the phone. To get it to work, turn on the phone, then you go to the settings, go to bluetooth and turn it on from there, once it is turned on, then you ensure the device you are trying to pair with is turned on, then you try to send or receive a file from other devices, it will require you to pair the devices up to be able to send or receive files using the bluetooth.
Use a simple pairing passkey to pair the devices up, like 1111 or 0000, that should help.
Hope this was helpful. Thanks for using fixya.

Won,t send or receive pictures lg 290c

To send or receive pictures or any file, you need to be sure that your phones bluetooth is turned on, without it your phone will not be able to send or receive pictures or any files. Also, you can transfer files to a computer using a USB cable, connect it to a computer and other devices that Has a USB hub. Files can also be transferred through the SD memory card, you can transfer pictures to the memory card and remove it from your device, then you turn off your phone, remove the memory card, install it into other devices that allows memory cards, then you copy pictures from the memory card to other devices.
To use your bluetooth in transferring the pictures from your phone to other bluetooth devices, then you turn on youe bluetooth by going to the phones menu, select the settings, then you go to the bluetooth and turn it on, make sure the bluetooth device of other phones and devices are turned on then you select the picture to send and select via bluetooth, it will search for the available bluetooth devices, then you select the one you are willing to send your pictures to then you either pair id the device is not familiar, ensure you use a password that is easy to remember to pair with the other device.
That way your phone will be able to send the pictures. That should solve the problem. Hope this information assisted you!

WHEN I WANT TO CONNECT WITH ANOTHER MOBILES BLUETOOTH THEN IT SHOWS NO DEVICE FOUND

Hello,

First, you ensure that your phones bluetooth is on by doing to the settings and turning it on, then you ensure that the bluetooth device of the other device you are trying to send or receive a file from is also turned on, then, you can transfer files.

If it still does not find your bluetooth, you can try to receive a file from the recipient you were trying to share files with, and pair up the devices so you will be able to find bluetooth devices.

Take care

The phone can't send any files through bluetooth. it can only recieve files. I already upgraded the software, but the problem is still there

In order to send files to another device through bluetooth, go to 'Menu > My Stuff' and navigate to the file you want to send. Then, go to 'Options > Send via > Bluetooth'. When the file browser returns to the list, press 'Done'. You'll be offered a list of paired devices. Select the one you want to receive the file, and you should be good to go.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos
