Do you have the app store logo showing on your phone? Also, when you connect to your computer (pc/laptop/etc.) do you have itunes application?
If so, you can download programs through either means - the app store on your iphone will download direct to your phone. The itunes application on your computer will download, and then when you sync will add to your phone.
To download apps from the AppStore, you'll need an iTunes Store Account that is activated, you need it even if the apps you want are free.
And to activate your account, you MUST have a credit card.
Here's how to create an iTunes Store account:
On your computer, open iTunes and go to iTunes Store
At the top-right corner of the iTunes Store window, you'll see Sign In. Click on it
A pop-up window will appear. Click Create New Account
iTunes will welcome you to the iTunes Store. Just click Continue.
iTunes wiil show you the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions...Check on the box that indicates you agree, then click Continue
Provide some basic information for your iTunes Store Account... At the bottom, you'll see some emailing options which you can check or uncheck, it doesn't matter. Once finish, click Continue
Grab your credit card and provide your payment method information. Click Done once finishDon't worry, this is safe, I've been using my account for 6 months already and there's no hidden charges. And if Apple said the app is free, it's really free. There's absolutely no surprises.
iTunes will show you the Account Information summary. Verify that all information are correct and click Done, again
After that, you're all set! Go to AppStore and download all you want!
To download apps, you can either use AppStore from iTunes on your computer & sync apps afterwards; or use the AppStore app that's embedded on your iDevice.
I believe the problem is occurring because you are trying to gift an iOS 7 app to a lower version device. Try upgrading both devices to the same version and then see if that helps. Best of luck, hope this helps!
This sign means you need to connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. If the phone is still not responsive after connecting you may want to try a hard reset.
Hold the power and the home button down until the device shuts down completely and the apple logo appears.
If a hard reset doesn't solve the issue, then you may want to try and do a factory restore by connecting to iTunes and selecting the factory restore option. Please note, doing a factory restore will remove all apps and data stored on your device.
The problem with using a phone on another carrier is that even though it worked for a long period of time your current carrier updates information on there system and it may now have caught that you are using an unlocked phone on there service. This is not a bad thing but your applications may not work properly. You may also experience delayed voicemail and delayed text messaging because of this issue.
To sync email account settings from Outlook to the iPhone via iTunes on your PC, do the following: 1. In iTunes, under Devices, select iPhone. (If your iPhone has been activated, iTunes will automatically display this view.) 2. Click the Info tab. 3. Check the boxes for the items you want to synchronize. In the Email and Calendar lists, verify that Outlook is selected. 4. In the lower right-hand corner of the iTunes window, click Sync. The selected information will sync with iPhone.
If you did not store your password in Outlook, use the following steps to store your password on your iPhone: 1. On the iPhone, press the Home button. 2. Tap Settings. 3. Tap Mail. 4. Under Accounts, tap the desired account. 5. Under Incoming Mail Server, tap Password. The keyboard is displayed and a cursor appears in the Password field. 6. Type your password and tap return. Your password is saved.

Greetings. Do you have an account set up on iTunes? One quick way to tell if your not sure is to open iTunes, look to the left hand side of the program and click on iTunes store. Once the store has loaded look at the upper right corner and if there is a button that says sign in you do not have an account set up. If you do have iTunes account information you can log in using that button. The app store needs you to login the same way.
Once you have music or apps in the iTunes simply hook up your iPhone to your computer. It should sync automatically.
You do not have to hook up your iTunes to a wifi network it is optional. if there is no wifi network it will just use edge or 3g if you have the new iPhone.
It is not possible to send a multi media message with the iPhone. It is not included. You can however send pictures via email. Let me know if this helped or if you want more info. Take Care, -WN
