Even tho you have replaced the fan it will not cool the system down in time if it is your amp that has gone. This heats up so quick if there is something wrong with it and it will just stop the power from going to your speakers. Take it to a shop and get it looked at.

Does the system perform normally- as long as it works? If yes, then the Amplifier is at fault. It cannot be the output Transistors or IC, as the sound is coming from both channels. If you know solid state servicing, I advice replacing all the electrolytic capacitors in the Output stages of the Amplifier.
