Question about Danby DMW105 Microwave Oven
Hi, The display is OK The keyboard is working, the time rolls down when I press start, it stop when I press stop or when I open the door. I heard a little click when i press start or stop. Nothing else is working, no heating, no light or turning or fan noise. The fuse seems ok, there is no display when I take out the fuse. thanks
Quite often this is due to a bad door switch. Opening the door while cooking (without first hitting the STOP pad) is the primary cause of door switch failure. I have a text file called "doorsw.txt" which helps in diagnosing and repairing door switch problems. You can find the file via a Google search. In some cases, the problem is a bad connection or a bad relay on the control board. That's something we see from time to time, but it's usually a door switch.
