DVD player reads disc error when I'm trying to play a disc. What does this mean besides the fact that the picture can't be seen?

-   Everytime i put a dvd or cd in the player it reads " no disc". I have tried to call Norcent Technologies and either no-one answers or they hang up. Also everytime i try to email them, it gets returned. -   trifiletti
