No there is not and 1 hour is a reasonable time - go away and do something else!

How long should a complete regular load take?

A regular load should probably take approximately 40 minutes, but there are various times for every different washer. The washer I have at home takes about 50 minutes to an hour. It really depends on the quality of the washer. Certain washers today use less water therefore it takes longer to wash

My ifb washing machine top load is got error in timing display as number 4

If the error comes up as E:04, then that is an error code that the washing machine is overloaded.
Try this:

Remove the clothes from the washing machine.
Unplug the machine from the power receptacle for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, plug machine back in and run the machine without the clothes in it until it completes the cycle.
On the next load, do not load the machine with as many clothes.
Please reply to me if this works.

Thank you!

I used aml 85 ariston washing machine but it takes time to wash it takes 2 and a half hour to can i make quick washed for this.i want like 1 hour wash only

Select a quick wash cycle which will take in less time to load water , rinse and spin, Also choose with a smaller load. check the INLET water pressure to be good, check the drain to be effective, if not clean both the valves..

Own a whirlpool dishwasher with six sense. Kindly advise me if we can reset the timer to ONLY 30mins or 45mins as 2hours is the only time on the machine. First time user and in booklet don't...

This machine determines the time it will take to wash depending on the load and how dirty the dishes are. It actually looks at the load in the machine and as it washes, it also checks the first and subsequent emptying of waste water, to see how soiled the water is. The machine then adjusts the duration of the wash depending on what it finds as it runs through the cycle. Consequently, you can't adjust the time. However, the 2 hours that the machine is displaying is an estimate, based on the most recent loads that it has done for you (I'm not sure, but I believe it is the average time taken for the last 10 or 20 loads). If the machine is new and hasn't built up a history of the loads you use, the estimated time to wash will be quite high (there may well be a 2 hour default estimate). This does not mean that it will necessarily take 2 hours. You will find that when you put in a load, the time to finish will be revised as the machine goes through its cycle.

Consequently, if you typically do the same sort of load time and time again, you will see that the estimated time to finish will begin to stablise around a more realistic estimate as the machine "gets a feel" for how long the load will really be likely to take.

Bottom line, just let it do the loads and trust the technology to do the best job that can be done. The time to finish will begin to change as it builds up a history and the machine is designed to use as little water and power as possible without your intervention.

Is there a way to shorten the wash cycle in regards to time(less than 2 hours)? Or is there a rapid wash cycle?

The normal cycle is approx 1 hour. The w4840 has a little more flexibility in wash times.

I have a kenmore elite washer and dryer is there any way to speed up the time it takes to do a load of wash it takes mine forever. Can it be reprogrammed or a way to reduce the time it takes for a wash...

No way to change pre programmed main control board, although you can use a gentle/delicate cycle that does have a shorter wash time. I would not use this for very dirty laundry. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Washer has timing issue, says it will wash for 45 minutes and wash for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The cycle says 50 minutes but it ends up taking 75 minutes.

This is really not uncommon. The more and more sophistocated the machines become, the more small decisions they make on their own. I have seen a one hour load take up to 2.5 hours.

If a load is off balanced, it will change the time. If the spin cycle doesn't spin enough water out, it will increase the time, and may still be too wet. (In that case you need to clean out the lint/drain trap.)

If you really want more control and quicker washes, there will be a setting like "Quick wash " or "Fast wash." Theis setting is quite basic and does exactly what you tell it to do, and you can always add and extra rinse, or higher speed cycles.

Kenmores and GEs are the highest reported rate of longer times. Relax. The more you add, ie, delicate, two rinses, light spin, medium dry, the longer it will take. It's just trying to do its job! :)
