Question about Panasonic Panafax UF-790 Plain Paper Laser Fax

Faded Inverted print UF-790

When my 790 has been without power for a while, I can print 2-3 pages, before it starts fading out,
and it seems like I have a negative print on the paper.
Anything that is supposed to be black, stand outs whiter than the rest of the page,
that looks a bit gray, like dirty.

Same problem with a different toner.

Anyone who have a pointer ?

Dont do a shipment set. there are 2 piece of wire on the left side in the machine when you take the toner out. those might be bent or dirty . if this is the case the toner isnt getting a proper charge

Still sounds like a bad toner cartridge. However, Try this:

Unplug power cord
Hold down ENERGY SAVER key while plugging back in
Scroll down to SHIPMENT SET
Press SET
Press 2 for no.
Wait for machine to reboot.

I have a Xerox Phaser 8400 with image problems. After power up it prints a Startup Page - That page is black text which faded and slightly distorted in some areas and in areas that are in Color only...

What you are describing is a bad print head. You can try running the eliminate light stripes several times, and jet substitution, but most likely the print head will have to be replaced to remedy your problem.
You can try googling. Phaser printer print heads or phaser printheads.
There seems to be a secondary market appearing for those print heads. I can tell you from Xerox, if you have no maintenance agreement, they cost $750 per print head.
Honestly, having worked on about every type of color printer known to man, the new solid ink phaser printers, produce a dry ink image of 2400 x 2400 dpi with ink particles that align end to end. The resolution of those printers are remarkable and can be purchased for less than the price of one of those new print heads.
Now for reliable, albeit somewhat not as sharp a color image, but still exceptional, you really can not beat an HP.
The ink stick technology really no longer has the color vividness advantage it initially had. The inks that align end to end, have ended that advantage and are sure a lot cheaper to operate per page.

I have the PIXMA MP210, bought it this past June or July. I send a document to print and it prints that one. I send the next one and it will not start up, if I press start it will grab the paper and with...

It seems like you have a driver problem.

Go to this page, select your operative system and download the latest drivers.

Then go to "control panel", double click on printers and select the Pixma.

right click it and select delete

If windows ask you about deleting the files, select yes.

Then install the new drivers and you should be good to go.

Good luck

Prints 2 or 3 pages then fades out

There is a problem with your printhead and it needs to be replaced, but this is a completely free process, kodak won't charge you anything for it. You need to call their support center to have it replaced, or you may go to their website on kodak.com/go/aiosupport to replace it yourself on line.

Faded print on one side of page

I have a SCX-4100 Samsung, replaced the tonger cartridge, it was working fine for a few hundred sheets of printing, but after that, the left side of the page was printed very light, faded.
If I run the "Clean Drum", it will print a litter better, but still faded.
What can I do to correct this problem?
Thank you
