There are 2 -150 watt halogen lamps in the machine that heat the drum. One or both are blown out.
Turn the lights off in the room with the printer then turn the printer on. Look on the right side cover, you will see an exaust fan vent, look in there and after a minute or 2 see if you see lamps gloging inside the machine,( I seriously doubt you will). If not, those are bad. They are not real hard to replace, just take some time and patience to do.
Let me know if you want to try it.
They should cost less than 15 dollars at Lowes, home depot, or anywhere that sells halogen lamps.

Yeah, when installing the registration transport you most likely broke the sensor actuator.

    Very easy to do.,

Getting fault error 37,008.44:31508 How

There is a problem with the power up of the printer. For 37,00x.xx error codes you can try power off the printer, wait 30 seconds and power it back on. According to the Xerox website for 37,008:44 error code you should Verify the Printer's Power Source and Isolate the Printer.

Error 41

error 41 is a printhead fault. The only repair is a new printhead. The price went up this year so a new one will cost you at least $89.00 plus labor.

I get this error 09.038.46:16890, Xerox 8560

9038 Means that the inck count sensor flags are stuck after melting 2.5 ink sticks for your black ink. Are you running Genuine Xerox Ink? If so then you need to run the "Clear ISC Fault" test to clear the error. This is done in the diagnostics menu. To get to the diagnostics menu shut your printer off then do the following.
1.) Hold down the back and info buttons
2.) while holding the buttons turn your printer on
3.) keep holding for 30-45 seconds

The "Clear ISC Fault" is located under the Functions menu.

After you have run the "Clear ISC Fault" verify that the black ink sticks are able to advance in the ink loader chute. Check and make sure there are no broken ink sticks or wrong ink types and remove them.

Phaser 8550 printer fault 37,008.44:25860

This is a pre heater error.

I would make sure the printer is connected directly into the wall and not into a power strip or UPC as these devices may create momentary AC voltage sags that could cause this error. If power levels going into the printer are good, you will need to contact Xerox for support

You lost the sensor calibrations. Grab the service manual. Do the four fault clear, enable tech access mode and calibrate paper motion, paper out and platen.

Cannon D780 All in One Laser Printer System Error 000

System error 000 means a fault occured 4 times in a row. You can reset this fault code and the copier should start working again. I assume you had other fault codes before you received this one, otherwise you would of never got the 000 code. To reset this code, you need to go into service mode. I dont have the instructions at this very moment, but I will get them and post them tomorrow.
