Question about Plantronics - Bluetooth Headset Plus Base & Headset
I have found that winamp doesn't automatically output through any hands-free headphones, therefore you need to go into Preferences on Winamp (Ctrl+P), go to:
-select Nullsoft DirectSound Output -->configure
-select Device tab
-select 02: Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio
If music is already playing, click STOP then PLAY, pause will not do it.
I have been looking for this fix all day on the internet, but finally worked it out myself.
Hopefully this post will make someone else's day less stressful!

Using Windows Vista, open Bluetooth devices (just type in bluetooth devices into the search bar) then click on Add, put a tick in My device is set up and ready to be found > click next > double click on 590Plantonics > then next > put a dot in Use the passkey found in the documentation > type in 0000 then click next. It will then install the drivers, and click finish.
To ensure all windows Vista audio goes through your newly setup bluetooth headset, click on Start > Control Pannel > Sound select "Speakers: Bluetooth Stereo Audio" > Click on Set Default.
Now all windows applications will play through your headset. Your system will revert to it's normal audio once your bluetooth is disconnected.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
