The clothes dryer assembly looks simple enough but "Is it"? Belt goes round the drum. Belt goes under the guide wheel and onto the Motor wheel. The guide wheel is held in place - under tension of the belt and a spring. Is this right?

- Thank you very much. This gave me the confidence to finish the job in a few minutes. After cleaning out the gunk I recon she will spin for another 20 odd years.

GE Frontload Dryer (DCVH515EF model) starts up and heats up just fine, but the dryer turns off after running just a few minutes. Dryer has been running fine for 2 years, and I have checked the lent trap and venting and all appears fine. Could there be a dampness sensor that has gone bad? Thanks

hello the problem with the dryer is that it display an E01, which i have to assume is some error code. The dyrer will not turn of if I press the power or shutdown the breaker or disconnect dryer from outlet. The E01 still displays everytime. The dryer basically does not work at all.. its like its locked in that mode. Is there any way to perform as master reset? I am sure there is some software in the electronics, is there a way to reset the h/w by doing some type of software reset via control panel? thank you for your support
