How do you delete old email 'address'es in my computer file

Which email account ?

Erase Email Addresses in My Computer

Email addresses can be stored on a computer if you use email software, such as Microsoft Office Outlook and Yahoo Messenger Beta.

Deleting email addresses manually from these programs does not actually completely erase them from your computer.

To erase email addresses permanently, meaning that a hard drive recovery program will not be able to restore them if it is used, requires a process called formatting, which completely erases the information on a hard drive.

Click on the shortcut "My Computer," which you can locate on your desktop.

Right click "Local Disk (C:)" and select the "Format" option.

Change the "Allocation Size Unit" to "Default Allocation Size."

Click the "Start" button.

The email addresses, as well as the rest of the files on the hard drive, will now be erased.

Delete a Live Mail Email Address

Windows Live Mail is a part of the Windows Live suite of productivity and entertainment programs, and it is intended to be the new free email client for Windows beginning with Windows 7.

After trying Windows Live Mail, you may decide that you have added too many email addresses and that you would prefer to use the email client to check only one address.

Remove an email address from Windows Live Mail to reduce the clutter in your email inbox.
Launch Windows Live Mail, and browse to the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen.

Click "Accounts."

Click the email account that you would like to delete.

Click the "Remove" button.

A message will appear to remind you that any messages belonging to the email account that are not backed up in another location will be deleted permanently.

Click "OK" to confirm.

The account will be deleted immediately.

Click "Close" to return to Windows Live Mail.

Delete Hotmail Adresses

Log in to your hotmail account and click "Help."

Search for "Cancel Account" and select "Why are all my email messages gone?"

Expand the option that says "Close a free Hotmail account" and click "Windows Live Hotmail close account."

Click "Close Account" on the page that opens.

If you do not sign in to your account for 365 days, your account will also be deleted.

Hope this helps.

Ai cant not poen yahoo mail

Allow your email to fully load up before you click on anything.
Wait for the loading icon in the browser to stop and then try.
If that doesn't help then reload your email or sign out then sign back in.Make sure your browser is updated to the latest updates and
has the latest version of Adobe Flash player plug-in.

You can also clear the browsing history by pressing control, shift & delete together. This works for both Internet Explorer & Firefox. Can also work for Chrome as well.Try another web browser to what your using this might help. You can also access Yahoo mail on your mobile phone if you have one. It's a fast, reliable and efficient way to using yahoo mail.Data needs to be in the phone otherwise it will use the credit in the phone contract or prepaid plan.We can fix it remotely at

I am on the new beta yahoo now and i dont like it i want to be back on the old one i was on before

It is Not in Options....
To Switch Back to Previous Version of Yahoo Mail do this:
1. Click Help in the Upper Left-hand side of the Beta Mail screen.
2. Scroll down, click Return to Original Mail/Leave the Mail Preview
3. When you reach the Confirmation window, Complete the form, then click Continue.
4. Allow the mail page to Reformat.

You will then be returned to the Previous Version of Mail.

Should it be switched to "All-New Mail" - merely do this:
1. click Options at right side of mail page
2. click Mail Options
3. click Switch to Classic
4. Allow the Mail Page to Reformat to Classic Mail..

I have the Insignia D300a for a few years and have had very little trouble until recently. Now, I keep getting messages, such as: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. ...

May I know since when you are facing this issue? The symptomps you have described tells that it might be an issue with the operating system of the pc. looks like you are using windows xp in your pc. You can try running a system restore. Start>All Programs>Accesories>System tools>System Restore. Then you will get the window of system restore and you will have click on the option that says Restore My Computer to an earlier date/earlier point in time. Once u click on that it will show u the calender. If u are sure about the point in time from which u r facing this issue look for the date. But you will be able to restore ur pc only to those dates that are marked in bold. Click on that date and keep hitting next until it starts the restoration. If it does not help then try this. Click on start>Control panel>Add or remove programs. once the add or remove programs window comes up on the left hand column u will get an option called Add/Remove Windows Components. On the list that comes up u will get the options for Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Uncheck them and restart the pc. And follow the same process to put check marks on those two options. IF this does not help most likely u will have reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows. If u dont want to run the format then u can use another browser like mozilla firefox and use another email client like Windows live mail and u can download them free from web. is the link to download mozilla firefox and is the link to download the latest version of live mail.
