T.V WILL NOT TURN ON WHEN POWER BUTTON IS PRESS LIGHT FLASHES THREE TIMES THEN THE T.V ACTS LIKE IT WILL TURN ON BUT THEN GOES BACK OFF
Sounds like the power caps CP150 CP120 and CP114 on the deflection board. You can get the RCA repair kit by that same name from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit also comes with instructions.

yes what your describing is possibly a flyback which is very inexspensive and easy to fix. But I will need the model number of your RCA to be positive and tell you which flyback you need. So please respond to this same post with the model number and I will provide the proper info so you can repair the set without alot of exspense.

heres the capacitor locations you can feel the top with your finger if theyre domed they need to be replaced. They should be completely flat.
