Step 2. Unzip and install the Mira Scan driver that you just downloaded. After installation , system will suggest you to add a scanner
Step 3. Then, add an imaging device
Step 4. Then the Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard comes up. Click Next at the bottom.
Step 5. Then on Scanner and Camera Installation Wizard screen it will ask you which scanner or camera do you want to install? You want to go where it says Manufacturer and then click on EPPSCANNER and where it says Model it should say color flatbedscanner. Make sure it is highlighted, also. Click on Next at the bottom. Best regards , fanaudi .
If you try with a sofware wich you get addtional to your scanner, then software type needed to answer it. But you also can try your scanner with Microsoft ffice Document Scanning / Imaging (Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office -> Microsoft Office Tools)
If it works as expected then your used software is not set as needed, see the software settings.
I had to download two different drivers to get my AcerScan320U to work in Win2k (WinXP is easy, as the drivers are included with WinXP). MiraScanv3.42 does not work, but it has good drivers for getting the scanner properly recognized. After that, MiraScanv4.03u10_BQA from Benq will work, and installing it is point and click.
Specify the location of the older (V 3.42) drivers.
Select the file called EPP2K.
Check "Install one of the other drivers".
Select the Benq as shown in the next two images, and then select Next>.
The driver on the link below is reported to work with this scanner on Windows XP. You will need to register (free) on the site to download:
