Question about Cell Phones
Upgrade software, scan virus, clean the board either from SE Servicing Centre or any skilled mechanic.

It sounds like you have moisture in your switches. Sony Ericssons are bad for that because the button sequence required to go to messaging, create, send, select contact, send message are usually the same button.
Go to youtube and look up a video on how to disassemble the handset. Once you have the handset apart, the switch sheet will peal off of the main board. I would just about guarantee that you have some minor corrosion under those switches. Give the motherboard a bath in 91% rubbing alcohol with a toothbrush, use an eraser to remove the corrosion from the switch surface of the Mother Board, and with a small screwdriver, you can lightly scratch away any corrosion on the underside of the switches themselves.
