Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone
Go into a message like you are typing a new one. On the left or right soft key, they should be "options" - select that. When in the options menu, look for "typing options", "writing options", or something related to the dictionary. It is in there that you should be able to turn the dictionary on or off, which enables or disables predictive text.

Press and hold star key(top right of screen will scroll through txt options ie abc ABC 123 etc and predictive txt)
