With the Web-based Yahoo! Mail service, you can attach to
your email message a saved Web page or another document in HyperText Markup
Language format.
When you attach an HTML file in this way, Yahoo! Mail won't
display the HTML content of the attached file in the email message body.
To view the attachment, you must click the attachment tab
above the email message.Yahoo! Mail and HTML
Yahoo! Mail is a Web-based service and it's fully
compatible with the coding languages used to design and display Web content,
including HTML and XML, Extensible Markup Language.
This means emails sent or received in Rich text or HTML
format include clickable hyperlinks, graphics and other Web design elements.
However, Yahoo! handles emails with HTML attachments in a
different way to email messages formatted with HTML.
About Yahoo! Mail Attachments
Like most email programs and online services, Yahoo! Mail
offers an attachment feature for adding images, video clips, audio files and
HTML document to email messages.
Some email programs display the content of the attached file
in the email message body, but Yahoo! Mail doesn't provide this feature for any
file attachment, whether it's an image, video clip or HTML document.
Viewing Yahoo! Mail Attachments
When you attach an HTML document or another file to your
Yahoo! Mail message, an "Attachments" button labeled with a
"Paperclip" icon appears below the email address fields and above the
email message body.
Clicking the "Attachments" button opens a pane containing a
list of all files attached to the email. The email sender or recipient can open
each attachment to view the files by clicking the file name.
Considerations
When sending a Yahoo! Mail with an attachment, always
explain the content of the attachment in the main body of the email message.
A brief explanation will encourage the recipient to click
and open the attachment to view the HTML document.
Bear in mind that many email services automatically block
HTML attachments because of the security risk of opening HTML files, which can
contain viruses, phishing scams or open Web pages with inappropriate content.
If you want to share a favorite Web page with a friend or
contact, include a hyperlink to the Web page rather than a saved copy as an
HTML attachment.

Most of the time, the internet browser is the problem when a page won't load up. If you're accessing your Yahoo! Mail everyday, there will come a time that your browser will be filled out with cookies and cache.
However, you must try to isolate first, to make sure that the problem is the browser and not the Yahoo! Mail sign in page. Here are the things that you may try:
1. Try to use different internet browser and access your Yahoo! Mail. If the sign in page loads up, then it's the browser.
2. Try to access the Yahoo! Mail in a different computer that is connected to a different network.
If the problem is only happening in one browser, then it's the browser. You may try to clear the cookies and cache. Here's how:
* For Internet Explorer - Open your IE > Tools > Internet Options - Click the "Delete" button under the browsing history. - Select cookies, internet files, etc. - Select "Delete All". - Close and re-open your IE. - Try to access your Yahoo! Mail.
* For Mozilla Firefox - Open Firefox > Tools > Clear Recent History. - Select cookies, cache, browsing and download, etc. - Click on "Clear Now" - Close and re-open your Firefox - Try to access your Yahoo! Mail.
The question is how do you access your e-mail? There are two ways of accessing the e-mail. First is via the Web browser where you need to open your Internet browser and then type your user name and password.
The other one is via an e-mail client like Outlook 2003, 2007 or Outlook Express.
If you're accessing your e-mail via the Web browser, try optimizing the internet browser by deleting the Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.
Here's how to delete the Cookies and Temporary Internet Files for IE7 and later versions:
1. Run your IE > Tools menu. 2. Internet Options > click on 'Delete' under the Browsing History option. 3. Click the Delete buttons for Cookies, Internet Files 4. OK > Close and re-open your IE and try accessing your e-mail again.
But if you're accessing your e-mail via an e-mail client (Outlook 2007), all you have to do is to change the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) port number and you should be able to send e-mails out.
Here's how:
1. Run your Outlook > Tools > Account Settings. 2. Double-click on your e-mail account. 3. Click on More Settings button > Advanced tab 4. Change the Outgoing Mail SMTP port number. If your Outgoing port is set to 25, you may change it to 2525 or 587 or 465 (SSL) 5. OK > Close and re-open your Outlook. 6. Try sending e-mail.
If this problem never happened before, you may try optimizing your Internet browser by clearing the Cookies, History and Internet Files. To do this, please follow the steps below:
* For Internet Explorer: 1. Run IE > Tools > Internet Options. 2. Locate the Browsing History portion and click the Delete button. 3. Delete the Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and History 4. Click on OK > close the IE. 5. Re-open IE > try accessing your Yahoo e-mail again.
* For Mozilla Firefox: 1. Run Firefox > Tools > Clear Recent History... 2. Click the drop-down arrow > select 'Everything' 3. Click on 'Clear Now' > close the Firefox. 4. Re-open Firefox > access your Yahoo mail.
You may try optimizing your Internet browser. To do this please follow the steps below.
If you using Internet Explorer:
1. Open the IE > Tools > Internet Options. 2. Click on "Delete Cookies" and "Delete Files" buttons 3. Click on "Clear History" button 4. Close/re-open the IE 5. Try accessing yahoo.com to see if the page will load up.
