Who manufactured the tach? Maybe they have a web site and instructions? Did you tach come with instructions?

I looked at autometer instructions for your vehicle, have to use an adapter, it ties into the power wire for your coil pack. The adapter costs about 97 bucks, not including tax.

Different tach manufacturers may have different hook-ups?

I never worked on a Suzuki so if this has a distributor look for a connector that has the letter T on it
If it is a distributorless ignition the inginition module will have the same marking for the tachometer.
If you do not see any reference such as I mentioned do not connect any wires anywhere for this tach until you know from someone else that has a better idea

98 civic lx where is ignition coil?? ++

IT'S A BLUE WIRE ON THE BACK OF THE CONNECTOR THAT WOULD NORMALLY GO TO THE FACTORY TACHOMETER IN THE DASH. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE DASH GAUGE CLUSTER TO GET AT THE CONNECTOR. THE CONNECTOR WILL NOT BE PLUGGED INTO ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FACTORY TACHOMETER (DX, CX, HX ETC...YOU WILL HAVE TO SPLICE INTO OR CUT THE BLUE WIRE FROM THE PLUG. IT GOES TO TACH SIGNAL WIRE ON YOUR NEW TACH.
