I assume you're talking about the light that is inside the microwave & not the cook top light. Unplug unit. Normally your microwave will have a plastic or metal panel on the top front or back of the unit. (The bulb is not always changed from the inside of the unit.) Simply remove the few screws that hold the panel on & remove it. This should give you simple access to the bad bulb. Replace bulb then reassemble. Some free standing units require the entire outside enclosure be removed.

There should a sliding panel of glass or plastic covering the light. Remove the glass or plastic then you should see the light bulb. If the light buld is a regular old bulb unscrew it if its a small floorisent bulb twist it so it will roll out of its sitting position. Then you can take the bulb to any hardware store to match the bulb. DO NOT PAY FOR SOME ONE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB....Please if this helped you post that I helped you with the correct answer so i may get credit....

Most microwaves require the removal of the case to get to the bulb. There's usually 6-8 along the back and sometimes 4 under the microwave along the side of the case.

I have had this trouble before but with a different model. There may be a plastic screen inside the microwave that will just pop off exposing the bulb. Now all you will need to do is to find out what type of bulb you will need to change the other bulb. I hope this made things easier on you.

You normally have to remove the outside cover to access the bulb. once you have the cover off you will see the bulb to be able to change it.
Make sure that the oven has been unplugged for a few hours before opening the covers.

Normal procedure is to remove case cover to access the bulb.

Usually several screws on the back and some partially hidden on the front to remove. Sometimes the screws require a Torx screwdriver.

Unplug unit and avoid touching any wires.

Replace bulb with exact type.

take the screws out of the cover if no access panel at the light and take off cover change bulb and put back together.
