  • Anonymous May 20, 2009

I also have the same problem. The ink cartriges show high levels. Black is new but when I use print, it moves as if its printing but the page is blank. I've used the clean printer jets and only a light blue line appeared.
ow do you unclog the head?

SOURCE: Printer will not print

Lacy, Other than obvious, Do you have ink?...Have you tried running the nozzle cleaner from with print properties? Has your ink maybe dried up. Try to reset the ink cartridge(s)..look at the bottom of the cartridge and see if the ink looks fresh(wet) or is it dry? Have you tried printing from more than one program? You can find other info here and download new drivers if need be. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=FAQs&oid=41662&prodoid=46048264&category=Products Good Luck, Tim

SOURCE: epson c84 printer not printing after installing new ink cartidges

Hi, Linda
You may buy cartriges of different producers.
Depending on producer on them can be or be not special yellow detachable labels.
These are an yellow labels must be removed from them. Then put cartridges back. And try to clean head 4-5 times. And check nozzle test.
Good luck.

SOURCE: My epson stylus c84 prints, but there's no ink on the paper

This might sound stupid, but did you remove the plastic film that covers the head?
Try this, if still nothing happens, go through your printer settings and run a "Cleaning" cycle on it.

Printer won't print - Acts like it is printing but come out blank.

I assume you have good full ink cartridges in the machine.

Go to your printer set up by clicking on START in the lower right hand corner of your screen then click CONTROL PANEL then look for printers - may be under DEVICES AND PRINTERS. Then make sure the correct printer is online in the drop down menu. Look around the choices after that and see if the test page will print properly. Good luck. Pete

My HP deskjet 2050 all-in-one printer only shoots out blank paper and won't print. It used to say there was no paper in it, which there was. It scans & prints just fine - just won't print...

Any error messages on the printer digital screen or the desktop? I take it the "The ink is fine" means that there is ink in the cartridges!

Try a test print via the Control Panel> Printers and Faxes> properties > Print test page.

Printer working but now printing onto the paper

turn on/off, unplug, plug in2_bing.gif, should reset configs.

take all the paper out, put half as much back in.
check the rollers to make sure no paper or particles are stuck in there.

go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.

lastly, go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above.
hope this helps and good luck

I cannot print anything from my printer it prints blank pages how do i troubleshoot

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Printers
Click with the SECOND (usually the RIGHT) mouse-button on the icon for your printer.
Click Properties
Click "Print Test Page"

If it prints a "blank" page, then either your printer is broken, or it is out of ink.

Take the printer to a qualified technician for trouble-shooting.

Paper Jam C84

Was the printer feeding multiple sheets at the same time, so that the sheer thickness of the wad caused the jam? If so, look into the slot where you load paper (this is called the automatic sheet feeder or ASF). You should see a small roller with a rubber coating. This is what pulls the sheets into the printer. Put one sheet of paper into the ASF and do a print. The Windows test print facility is convenient for this: start-control panel-printer and faxes, then right click your printer icon and select properties, then test print). If this works OK, put two pages into the ASF, then three etc. Observe what happens. If at some point more than one page is pulled in, it infers that the ASF is not working properly, in which case you will need to consult a technician (or have a go yourself at dismantling the printer). If the one-two-three-four etc page test doesn't produce a multiple feed, all it probably means, is that static electricity is holding the sheets tightly together. Make sure when you put a wad of paper into the ASF it has been fanned.

Report back on what you find, or if you have any queries on the above.

Flashing left light under x and not printing

One of your ink cartridges is empty
or you may have paper jam

Check for a jam first.

Then go and find your printer folder. I don;t know hwich Op sys you are using, but try
control panel>printers and faxes>
>right click on your printer>
click on preferences and then there is a category for light information.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Printing is printing blank sheet of paper

Lots of reasons here but usually it is because the software you are using to print is not compatible with the operating system anymore. Example: you used MS Photo Editor which was discontinued in 2003 and never supported under Windows XP. The one function that is broken is printing...it looks like it printed but a blank sheet of paper comes out. (exactly what you described)

Instead, use MS Picture and Fax Viewer or the follow-on product, MS Office Picture Manager.

If you remove the MS Photo Editor application under Control Panel/Software Programs then your picture files will open with a different (more print compatible and friendly) program.
