Will NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTX work with ASUS M2N E motherboard?
I currently have a GeForce 7300 GS with this motherboard. It does not handle video with text over the top of it well. Text moves very slowly during presentations when it should just snap to the next screen. Will upgrading to the GeForce 8600GT or 8800GTX with onboard DDR3 help my screens change faster?

Yes, the GeForce 8800GTX will work with your motherboard. And yes, it ought to make your video a bit snappier, too. Given what it sounds like you're doing, I'd go with the 8800GT, with 512mb of RAM. XFX makes one with that setup, and it should only set you back about a hundred bucks. Also bear in mind that insufficient system RAM will also slow down screen changes.
