Will not play DVD's but will play Music CD's

I'm not sure if this is a simple fix or needs some recalibration. I cannot play DVD's on my Home Theater but it will play my Music CD's. I don't think it's worth $100 to get it fixed if there is a simple solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
