Hissing. My tv makes a hissing noise whenever it is on, my bigger tv makes a much quieter hissing noise. It is somewhat distracting. Anyway ideas what may be causing this? Thanks!
If the hissing noise is from the LCD, it could be from the power supply due to failing capacitors. This noise is generated when the TV is trying to compensate for the lack of voltage/curent requirements.

The noise maybe the p/s pump fluid return,GM had some problem with this but nothing bad. GM makes a resticter that goes in the return line of the pump, it will slow the fluid down going back in the pump stopping the hissing sound.
