I have the same problem but I didnt drop it. It just randomly stopped working. I can only play gameboy advance games but cant see the top screen. It flickers and fades away after 30 seconds.

When I turn on my Ds Lite the bottem screen works fine, but the top screen is all black with white, green, and yellow vertical lines. My brother dropped it so the hinge was brocken on both sides. Any help is excepted

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Which LCD is blinking?

If your top screen is blinking before cutting off, your DS lite has a problem with the bottom screen.

My nintendo ds lite top screen isn't working properly

Top LCD's flex cable that passes through right-hand hinge into bottom part of case will be damaged or not properly seated in its connector socket.
